Tony and Jenna used to be a couple at university. Jenna discovered she was pregnant and dumped him. She was panicked and wanted to be back to her childhood town – Mystic Falls. She decided to forget her past and to move on. She had a daughter: Elena.

17 years later. After a lot of dirty jobs, she decided to study again – as she stopped her studies in the past. After a car crash, which killed her sister and her brother-in-law, she had to take care about their son: Jeremy, who is also her nephew.

Back to school. Elena met Stefan; they fell in love very quickly and became a couple. She also discovered his secret. She became involved in his world, where she became lost and where a lot of bad and unhappy things happened. Damon is frightening the city of Mystic Falls and the team of the NCIS is here in order to discover what really happened when it is said that it is “animal attack”. Damon managed to stop the chief of the NCIS, who was trying to shot Stefan.

 When Tony was doing his work as an investigator, he discovered that Jenna lives in Mystic Falls, so he decided to get in touch with her, and she told him that he is Elena’s father – Elena doesn’t know who her father is. Jenna asks Tony to wait few days before get in touch with Elena, because she wanted to tell Elena first. Tony asks Jenna about the animal attacks and realizes that she doesn’t know about vampires, but he discovered that Elena and Jeremy and Alaric – the history teacher, who is also Jenna’s boyfriend - know. Jenna got killed by Klaus few days later, because of a ceremonial.

Tony tried to create links with his daughter, but she refused. She is angry with him, because he tried several times to killed Stefan and Damon and she thought Jenna is dead because of him. As far as Jeremy is concerned, he doesn’t want to know his uncle, because he discovered few days ago that his uncles, John and Tony had killed Anna and Pearl. Tony wanted to be the legal tutor of Elena and Jeremy. But after a long discussion with Damon and Sheriff Forbes, it is better that Alaric take care of the children and become their legal tutor, because he get along with them.

 He managed to meet Elena again, and he gives her Jenna’s wristlet – the one Jenna used to love when she was alive, and which was given to Tony when she dumped him.

 Tony and Damon became friends, so when Tony left Mystic Falls, Damon talk to him about Elena. He doesn’t want Elena part of this vampire world, but he knows that Damon is the one who is able to protect her against this danger. Stefan now obeys to Klaus, because Klaus helped Damon to remain alive.

Few months later, Tony is back because of Damon’s call and helps his daughter – but she disagrees. Alaric became a vampire hunter and got hurt during a fight, and Elena get drowned and died. Doctor Fell said that she helped Elena because she had a brain trauma, but Elena had vampire blood in her veins when she died. He doesn’t forgive Stefan to agree with Elena and he saved Matt first.

 He is next to Elena during her passage and help Elena’s friends to escape, in order to wait until things get better with the council. He managed to convince people that the vampires get controlled by his team, Alaric, and a powerful witch.

Elena doesn’t want to drink human blood until Bonnie manages to find a way to remain Elena human. She had difficulties to become a vampire. Tony left his work and now lives in Mystic Falls in order to take care of Elena and Jeremy.

Elena decided to give a chance to her biological father, even if there are difficulties since she is a vampire. She knows he is able to take care about Jeremy.
